CIMARRON is seeking a Project Manager to manage client projects in an effective manner, ensuring client satisfaction, completion of project deliverables, maintenance of schedule and tracking/planning of project scope and costs. The successful candidate will be proficient in understanding of the requirements of CSA and ASME code and standards, as well as the regulatory environments of Alberta and British Columbia (as a minimum). They will also have significant experience providing engineering services to upstream oil and gas companies. There is a strong technical requirement for being an effective Project Manager on our oil and gas / small projects. The successful candidate will be keen to work with Junior Engineers and EIT’s, and support their technical development. This role must also provide support for business development related to the growth of this division.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Professional Engineer designation, with a minimum of 8 years related experience
- Local Oil and Gas upstream ‘engineering house’ experience
- Willingness to work on variety of types of projects
- Desire to help company develop and grow
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Understands and responds well to ‘Fast Paced’ upstream environment
- Team player in a project environment
