CIMARRON is seeking candidates who have proven mechanical engineering expertise and competency, in particular the installation of rotating equipment along with transmission and station piping. A mechanical background including knowledge of pumps, tanks, metering and custody transfer, and large diameter high pressure piping (including B31.3 and Z662 codes). Experience with transmission pipeline design and working knowledge of stress and hydraulic analysis is preferred.
The selected individual will have 10 years of mechanical design experience along with 5-10 years of consulting engineering experience and 5 years project management experience. Must work well in a team and will be expected to lead junior engineers, coordinate work with the drafting department and support the project managers in defining and reporting work progress, issues and changes. Experience within an engineering consulting firm and/or an operating company would be of benefit.
The position will be based in Cimarron’s Edmonton office.
