CIMARRON Engineering Ltd. (CIMARRON) is pleased to announce that CIMARRON has acquired all the issued and outstanding shares of Rising Edge Engineering Ltd. (REE). REE is a Calgary based 40 person, employee owned, engineering consulting firm specializing in the design of medium to high voltage electrical systems for utility and oil and gas clients. In conjunction with the transaction, REE CEO Nick Maher joins CIMARRON's Executive Committee, as Managing Director - Power. As well, a number of REE employees will become shareholders in CIMARRON. Finally the transaction includes the execution of a contracting agreement between CIMARRON and REE's sister construction company, Rising Edge Technologies, which will continue to facilitate delivery of turnkey power generation and transmission projects. Our combined team of 250 CIMARRON and REE staff, look forward to offering our traditional services to all of our existing pipeline engineering and integrity clients plus introducing our enhanced electrical power capabilities. CIMARRON was pleased to sponsor Enbridge's United Way Campaign, Golf Tournament and the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer, a two day, 200 km epic journey which raised in excess of $7 million benefiting Alberta Cancer Foundation. CIMARRON is also excited to be supporting our own CIMARRON team of 16 riders in the ride.

Smoky Lake Pump Station And Lac La Biche Pump Station
Access Pipeline is expanding their existing system in order to meet the pipeline throughput from the Devon Jackfish (SAGD) plant and the MEG Christina Lake (SAGD) plant. CIMARRON was retained to complete the detailed design and procurement for pump additions.
Norealis Pipeline
Enbridge Pipelines (Athabasca) is planning to transport additional dilbit production to its Cheecham Terminal. CIMARRON was retained for Front End and Detailed Engineering services for the pipeline scope.
Dodsland Program
PennWest is proposing a multi-year drilling program for light oil near Dodsland, Saskatchewan. CIMARRON was retained to complete a FEED study for the expansion plans of the system, plus detailed designs for required pipelines and batteries.
Bakken Expansion
Enbridge Pipelines is preparing pipeline and pump additions, plus terminal modifications in the Canadian scope of its Bakken Expansion Project. CIMARRON was retained for Front End Engineering services for the project.
Fort Nelson Inlet Compression Upgrade
Spectra Energy Transmission has undertaken a Taurus Titan addition at the Fort Nelson Plant in British Columbia. CIMARRON was retained to perform engineering and procurement services.
North Eastern British Columbia Expansion
TransCanada Pipelines has significant expansion plans to transport Groundbirch and Horn River gas production. CIMARRON was retained to perform FEED, detailed engineering and construction support for on-going measurement facilities.
Woodland Pipeline
Enbridge Pipelines (Athabasca) has announced the Woodland pipeline to transport dilbit from Kearl Mine to their Cheecham Terminal. CIMARRON was retained for Front End Engineering and Detailed Design services.
Keystone Expansion Pipeline
TransCanada Keystone Limited Partnership has announced a $7 billion Keystone expansion involving an independent pipeline from Alberta to the Gulf Coast of Texas to transport 500,000 barrels per day starting in 2012. CIMARRON has been retained by TransCanada for project management and engineering services to support the project.
